Borzoi House
Residential
After the Camp Fire, the owners returned to a property that had lost almost everything, but one crepe myrtle from their former garden had survived.
The new home was designed to preserve that connection to the past. The primary bedroom was positioned so the tree is framed by the main window, allowing it to become part of the owners' everyday experience.
Open living spaces, natural light, and thoughtfully selected materials create a home that feels warm, personal, and entirely new without forgetting what came before.
A home shaped around something that survived, and the life beginning again around it.
